Madeca Cream Tight Lifting

마데카크림 타이트 리프팅

A lifting cream built on fermented centella and 4,000 ppm madecassic acid — from Dongguk Pharmaceutical, Korea's centella authority since 1968.

동국제약의 발효 센텔라와 마데카식산 4,000 ppm 기반 더마 리프팅 크림 — 1968년부터 이어온 센텔라 연구의 결정체.

Benefits

  • Fermented centella extract (Lactobacillus/Centella asiatica ferment filtrate) as the #1 ingredient — fermentation breaks down actives into smaller molecules for deeper penetration
  • Madecassic acid at 4,000 ppm targets collagen synthesis and skin firming through TGF-β pathway activation
  • Centella stem cell extracellular vesicles (exosome-like) deliver regenerative signals at the cellular level — a next-gen delivery system beyond traditional extracts
  • Retinol + niacinamide + 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid provide a triple-action anti-aging and brightening stack
  • Ceramide NP + ectoin + squalane rebuild and protect the lipid barrier while actives work

Best For

  • Sagging / loss of firmness
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Dullness
  • Compromised barrier
  • for stressed or sensitive-looking skin

How to Use

After toner and serum, apply an appropriate amount evenly to face, focusing on areas with sagging or fine lines. Can be used morning and night. Layer under sunscreen in the AM.

Key Ingredients

Fermented Centella Extract
Lactobacillus-fermented centella asiatica — the #1 ingredient by concentration. Fermentation by Lactobacillus breaks down centella's large triterpenoid molecules (asiaticoside, madecassoside) into smaller, more bioavailable forms. The ferment filtrate retains the soothing and wound-soothing properties of centella while improving skin penetration. Also produces postbiotic metabolites (lactic acid, peptides) that support the skin microbiome.
Madecassic Acid (4,000 ppm)
The key centella triterpenoid responsible for collagen synthesis and firming. Madecassic acid activates TGF-β signaling in fibroblasts, directly stimulating type I and III collagen production. At 4,000 ppm, this is a clinical-grade concentration — significantly higher than most centella creams that rely on whole-plant extract. Also suppresses MMP-1 (the enzyme that breaks collagen down), providing both offense and defense for skin firmness.
Centella Stem Cell Extracellular Vesicles
Plant-derived exosome-like vesicles carrying regenerative signals from centella callus culture. Extracellular vesicles from centella asiatica callus (stem cell) culture carry bioactive cargo — proteins, lipids, and small RNAs — that can signal to human skin cells. They act as nano-scale delivery vehicles, fusing with keratinocyte membranes to deliver regenerative instructions. This is the same exosome technology trending in K-beauty clinics, adapted from plant cell culture.
Niacinamide
Multitasking vitamin B3 for brightening, barrier support, and pore refinement. Increases ceramide synthesis in the stratum corneum, strengthening the lipid barrier from within. Inhibits melanosome transfer from melanocytes to keratinocytes for brightening. At 2-5%, also regulates sebum production. Pairs well with the centella actives — niacinamide strengthens the barrier while centella repairs it.
Retinol + 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid
A stabilized retinol and vitamin C derivative duo for anti-aging and brightening. Retinol converts to retinoic acid in the skin, accelerating cell turnover and stimulating collagen production. 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid is one of the most stable vitamin C derivatives — it inhibits tyrosinase for brightening and scavenges free radicals. Together they address aging (retinol) and pigmentation (vitamin C) simultaneously, which is why this cream positions itself as a comprehensive anti-aging formula.
Ectoin + Ceramide NP + Squalane
A triple barrier-protection system combining extremophile defense, lipid repair, and emollient sealing. Ectoin is a stress-protection molecule from extremophile bacteria — it forms a hydration shell around skin cells, shielding them from UV, pollution, and desiccation. Ceramide NP fills gaps in the lamellar lipid bilayer for barrier repair. Squalane (hydrogenated squalene) mimics the skin's natural sebum to seal everything in. This trio protects the barrier while the potent actives (retinol, madecassic acid) do their work.
