How to Use

After cleansing and toning, take a pea-sized amount and gently pat over face with fingertips. Allow 2–3 minutes for absorption before applying sunscreen. Use morning and evening. 80ml.

Hydroxypropyl Bispalmitamide MEA (Pseudo-Ceramide)

A synthetic ceramide analogue that mimics natural skin ceramides. The core of AESTURA's DermaON technology — forms multi-lamellar structures similar to the skin's lipid barrier. DermaON® encapsulates pseudo-ceramide, cholesterol, and fatty acids into capsules that replicate the multi-lamellar structure of the stratum corneum. When applied, the capsules melt on contact and integrate into the skin's existing lipid architecture — like adding matching bricks to a wall rather than painting over it.

Ceramide NP

One of the most studied ceramide types in skincare. A key lipid in the skin's barrier that helps maintain moisture and keep irritants out. Ceramide NP (formerly Ceramide 3) is one of the dominant ceramide species in healthy human stratum corneum. Supplementing it topically helps reinforce the lipid matrix between skin cells — the mortar that holds the barrier together.

Squalane

A lightweight, stable oil that closely resembles the skin's own sebum. Provides emollient moisture without clogging pores. Squalane is the hydrogenated (stabilized) form of squalene, a lipid naturally produced by human skin. It integrates seamlessly into the skin's lipid layer, providing occlusive moisture without the heavy, greasy feel of mineral oils.

Cholesterol

A skin-identical lipid that is one of the three essential components of the skin barrier (ceramides, cholesterol, fatty acids). Healthy skin barrier requires ceramides, cholesterol, and free fatty acids in roughly a 3:1:1 ratio. Most barrier creams only include ceramides — AESTURA includes all three, matching the ratio the skin actually uses.

Allantoin
